I think Joseph Kony is a man with a diabolical mind as he tricks people into thinking he is a righteous man while he kidnaps children of young age without their permission and trains them to kill at a young age which they are scarred forever.
in this article Brian Knowlton talks about the United states involvement in the us of child solders.
“… it would be easier to press countries to stop using child soldiers if the united states remained closely engaged with them… ” this means that the us could try to get countries to stop using children if they get closer to them . http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/29/world/africa/29soldiers.html?_r=1
After life for child soldiers, especially girls is traumatic. Most are raped and some are even made pregnant. Leaving them traumatized for their after life.

Can you provide YOUR thoughts on the article and the topic of child soldiers in uganda?
My comment on this is children should never have to be put through those involvements of war.
Can you elaborate? What about the way children are being kidnapped and forced into warfare do you believe is so bad?

how do you think the US can engage in this issue?
Even an adult loses his temper, but a child with a machine gun is something you want to avoid. especially if he loses his temper and his gun goes off.
After you become a child soldier, you start to see the world in so many different ways.
Kids are often taken at a young age and are forced to become soldiers. When that happens, their minds snap and some of them forget who they really are.
Equality and freedom for all decisions, the government can not decide everything, the government can not deprive us of our rights.
